Want to discuss a bit ubuntu linux latest version just released yesterday on 29 April (not recently, but it's been awhile huh?? Hehe,,,) is the latest Ubuntu version of 10:04 with code name "Lucid Lynx"
It turns out "Lucid Lynx" was taken from the Latin name of wild cat animal, like the image above, on,,,, what advantages does this latest version of ubuntu?
Here it is:
* Boot Speed, currently ubuntu boot faster in almost all computers including netbooks.
* Integration of social networks, with a new menu 'Me Menu'. Like Facebook, Digg, Twitter and Identi.ca. Also included Google talk, MSN, IRC and others.
* Ubuntu One, improved desktop integration for online services, files and folders can be shared and stored in the "cloud" with greater ease.
* Ubuntu One Music Store
* Ubuntu Software Center 2.0, an easy way to find new software. And various menus associated with other software.
* Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.4 (UNE), is very appropriate to be installed on a netbook with SSD speed improvements in the media.
